Jana will be visiting in the summer!

We are thrilled about Jana coming to visit this summer with her boyfriend Philip. Jana was our au pair when Stella was born. She was watching Colin & Lilly while we were at the hospital welcoming Stella into this world. She made it possible for my mom to be there with me and Patrick to witness this miracle of miracles. Jana is Stella's god mother and a friend of our family forever.

Katharina will be coming in 3 weeks:)

We are thrilled to see Katharina again in three weeks. Barbara will be on a well deserved vacation in Florida. We are also planning to visit Katharina in the summer when we will be in Germany. Katharina lives in a small town about an hour outside of Vienna and she and her parents have become a part of our family.

Mexico February 2010

Just returned on Saturday night from our trip to Mexico (Riviera Maya), we had the best family vacation ever:) These all-inclusives are great for families with kids, you don't have to worry about anything.

Unfortunately Stella had an ear infection which forced us to extend our stay by two days. Amoxicillin in Mexico is not pink and they like suppositories, needless to say Stella is not a big fan...

Iberostar really knows how to cater to families... once you get there, everything is taken care of. They have a great kids club, good food options, an amazing pool with wave pool, lazy river and swim up pool bar... great entertainment, simple but fun and not too over the top.

The kids were up on stage every night playing different games and singing our new family "ear worm" Hey Baby by DJ Oetzi.
